INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY INTO CLASSIFIED DOCS AT BIDEN CENTER

The Democrats have tried to claim that former President Trump took classified documents from the White House before he left office, however after Biden left the vice presidency he apparently took classified documents to an office at the Penn Biden Center. The documents were discovered as Biden’s attorney’s were clearing out the offices at the Biden Center where he kept an office from after he left office in 2017 to 2020 when he ran for president. The confidential documents were reportedly found on November 2, 2022. Special Counsel Richard Sauber said that the attorneys immediately alerted the White House Counsel's office, who notified the National Archives and Records Administration, which took custody of the documents the next day. According to reports Attorney General Merrick Garland asked U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois John Lausch to review the matter after the Archives referred the issue to the department.

John Lausch was appointed to his post by former President Donald Trump. Former President Donald Trump recently came under attack after the FBI discovered a “trove of documents with classified markings” at Mar-a-Lago. However, Trump said that it is not uncommon pointing out that Obama took millions of pages of classified documents, some of which were sensitive and related to nuclear arms. Now it is coming to light that Biden also took classified documents. Why is there a different treatment for different party officials?
