BIDEN VISITS EL PASO TWO YEARS TOO LATE

President Biden and Democrats have claimed time and time again that there is no problem at the border and that it is more secure than ever, while hundreds of thousands of illegals cross into the United States. However, Democrats have refused to visit the border until now, but President Biden’s visit according to Texas Governor Greg Abbott is “two years too late and about $20 billion short of what needs to be done.” Biden’s visit comes after his administration announced new border enforcement actions last week, including new rules for immigrants coming from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaraguan, and Venezuela, but Abbott called that plan “enticement” rather than enforcement. Governor Abbott said, “There are things under current law that Biden can and must do. One is he shall detain and stop the release of people crossing the border illegally. Second, he should be prosecuting those who cross the border illegally, which he is currently authorized to do. Third, he needs to aggressively reinforce the remain in Mexico as well as Title 42 policies that federal counts have required him to do.” He went on to say that President Biden

must continue to build the border wall. Furthermore, El Paso was cleaned up prior to Biden’s visit to make it seem like there is no problem at the southern border. According to the National Border Patrol Council, “El Paso being cleaned up as if nothing unusual ever happened there. Just in time for Biden’s ‘visit to the border.’ We suggest just landing in Des Moines, Iowa and telling him it's El Paso. He'll never know the difference.” According to reports, the Border Patrol and local law enforcement drastically escalated detentions just ahead of the president’s visit and even migrant camps were cleared out. They wanted to make sure that the border looked safe and secure but those who live near the border know how disastrous Biden’s border policies are. Representative Mayra Flores called Democrats out saying why not let Biden see what the border communities and law enforcement personnel have to deal with on a daily basis.
